Raglan rallies to say no to seabed mining off west coast

Today hundreds of Raglan residents rallied to protest seabed mining off the West Coast of the North Island, habitat to one of the world’s most critically endangered species the Maui’s dolphin, and home to iconic surfbreaks at the points at Raglan.

They were joined by pro-surfer and representative of Surfers for Cetaceans Dave Rastovitch.
